The Training!

After you make that life, body, and health changing decision to sign-up and join the Cutting Edge Personal Training Family, Jim will evaluate all the information gathered during that first initial consultation and prepare for your first training session together.  The personalized exercise sessions are based on an hour or a half hour and consist of a warm up, strength and or cardiovascular conditioning and stretching. Each session will be customized based upon your abilities and goals. Sessions are progressive to keep your body steadily improving, steer you clear of a plateau and completely avoid injury, bringing you to a high level of health and performance.

Two individuals have the option of sharing an hour session and each will get a full body workout gaining the same benefits of a one on one session. Single sessions are one time only with no commitment for future sessions. The "SERIES" of sessions are 1 month programs that reoccur on some regular basis which can be as little as once per week or as often as four times per week. Committing to a series offers a reduced rate per session.






































Cancellation policy

Although the bulk of the cost that goes into a session is for the actual guidance and energy you get through Jim's training, you are also paying to reserve that time-slot.  To avoid being charged, the client must cancel within 24 hours of a scheduled session.  Any failure to do so forfeits the session and the money for that session. 

Conversely, if the trainer needs to cancel a session and fails to do so within 24 hours, the client will receive a free session.

The only exception to this rule would be "snow days."  In the case of snow, school schedules are followed.  That means if school is either delayed or canceled due to the weather, the client will be excused from the session without charge.  However, a phone call is expected.  If I do not receive a phone call stating the client is not coming in, I will assume the session is still on.  If the client does not call and does not show up, the session will be charged to them. 

If the client cancels more than twice within any 6 week period, the trainer holds the right to give that client's time slot away.  Sessions may be rescheduled for a later date and/or another open time slot.  If neither of those options can be agreed upon by the trainer and client, a refund for the remainder of sessions not serviced will be given.

The Consultation

The initial consultation will be 30-60 minutes in length and consists of discussing what your goals are, your  personalized success plan that will get you there, and assessing your fitness level. The information given to you in the consultation alone will give you the tools to eat healthful, create positive exercise habits, lose unwanted fat, and gain fitness from all levels. You will leave this session empowered with the beginning steps to makeover your body and health.
